Lepolam Wichrowscy Spółka Jawna implements a research and development project entitled:
“Innovative microwave device for measuring the moisture content in plastic sheets” co-financed by the European Union under the Operational Programme Innovative Development 2014-2020.
Measure: 1.1. Projects of B+R enterprises
Sub-measure 1.1.1 Industrial research and development works carried out by enterprises under the agreement with The National Centre for Research and Development under the co-financing agreement no. POIR.01.01.01-00-0954/16.
Purpose of the project: development of methodology of moisture spot metering in sheets having hygroscopic properties such as: PMMA, PC, ABS and coextrusion of these materials with high accuracy and creating a laboratory demonstrator innovative microwave sensor for moisture spot metering at the level of 0,01% of water content.
Total project value: 4 858 253,60 PLN
Subsidy amount: 3 549 594,88 PLN
Period of implementation: 01.10.2017 – 30.06.2020

The drier and the furnace are entirely the Polish products.
